Adequate shading and ventilation of the school’s interior was essential to provide effective and comfortable learning spaces. To this end, the scheme borrows from existing architectural devices characteristic of the middle-east.

The individual classrooms and admin facilities were treated as separate blocks and rotated to create triangular pockets of flexible learning space. This animates the school’s circulation spaces, transforming the corridor into a rich learning environment.
